Britain is an ‘active participant’ in Gaza genocide, say leading British Jews
British Jews protest against the Gaza genocide and Britain’s role in it, Whitehall, London, August 5, 2025BRITAIN is “not just complicit, but an active participant” in Israel’s genocide in Gaza, activists said today during a rally by British Jews against the crackdown on Palestine solidarity protests.
Dozens of activists, Holocaust descendants and campaigners gathered outside Downing Street to condemn the government’s proscription of Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation and the restrictions on protests imposed under the guise of protecting the rights of Jewish people.
Speeches were delivered, songs sung and poems read out — including some written by Palestinian children.

Speaking at the rally, former South African MP and anti-arms campaigner Andrew Feinstein called his constituent MP, the Prime Minister’s actions “shameful.”
“The reality is that Britain, under Keir Starmer’s government, is not just complicit in a genocide — it is an active participant in that genocide,” he said.
“The RAF now, through an American leasing company, is flying more spy flights over Gaza than the Israeli Air Force itself.
“That is not complicity, that is active participation, and this is being done in our names, using our tax pounds.”

Protesters in Camden… KEIR STARMER is facing mass rejection within his own constituency as a large demonstration of Palestine supporters took to the streets to demand he quits.
Two thousand joined a noisy and vibrant protest through the PM’s Holborn and St Pancras seat on Saturday, marking the first anniversary of his re-election as local MP by telling him that the community had turned against him.
In a message to the concluding rally, local campaigner Andrew Feinstein, who secured 7,000 votes standing against Sir Keir as a pro-Palestine independent last year warned: “If he dares stand again we as a community will decide the best candidate to stand against him and we as a community will end his political career.”

Palestinians mourn nine people killed in an Israeli strike in Bureij refugee camp, Gaza Strip, November 15, 2024 A COURT case against the British government over arms exports to Israel could be the most important challenge to the legal system in “generations,” arms expert Andrew Feinstein has said.
The case, brought by the Global Legal Action Network and the human rights group Al-Haq, will be heard in the High Court on Monday.
It calls on the government to suspend all arms exports, citing a clear risk that these could be used by Israel to violate international law.
Currently only 30 out of 350 licences are suspended and components for the lethal F-35 fighter jet are exempt.
Speaking to the Morning Star’s deputy news editor Ceren Sagir in a video interview, Mr Feinstein warned that if the legal system sides with the British state as it has done before, effectively allowing it to “trample” over British and international law, “then we will be able to say without a shadow of a doubt that the legal system in Britain is broken.
