Theresa May announces resignation. I wonder what happens now

Spread the love

Theresa May has announced her resignation as Tory leader UK on June 7th to be replaced as prime minister as soon as the Tory party decides on her replacement.

Theresa May became prime minister in unfortunate circumstances with UK divided following the Brexit referendum.

Her misfortune was compounded by the 2017 general election that resulted in her government becoming a minority goverment dependant on DUP (Democratic Unionist Party) support.

Turmoil followed with repeated failed attempts to agree Brexit.

Continuing instability is expected. The Conservative party is divided, Brexit is toxic and the Labour party is desperate for a general election and consequent election.

Climate Change: It’s not business as usual, there’s no neglecting climate change any longer

Spread the love

This blog will be featuring the Climate Emergency, the catastrophy of Climate Change far more in future. While I have to get upto speed with the arguments, I find the arguments of the climate change deniers very weak. You can hardly deny the established fact of catastrophic climate change when big oil was aware of it and had modelled it as early as the early eighties.

It’s not business as usual on Climate Change any more. Politicians will have to address climate change or they will simply not be elected. There is a very strong association between conservatives and insane climate change denial which is even more marked with the rabid Brexiteers.

https://www.buzzfeed.com/heidiblake/uk-refused-to-raid-lycamobile-citing-its-tory-donations

The British government refused to assist a French investigation into suspected money laundering and tax fraud by the UK telecoms giant Lycamobile – citing the fact that the company is the “biggest corporate donor to the Conservative party” and gives money to a trust founded by Prince Charles.

French prosecutors launched a major probe into the firm and arrested 19 people accused of using its accounts to launder money from organised criminal networks two years ago, after BuzzFeed News revealed its suspicious financial activities in the UK. But the Conservatives continued taking Lycamobile’s money – and it can now be revealed that the British authorities stonewalled a formal request from French prosecutors to carry out raids in London as part of the ongoing investigation.

Confidential correspondence between British government officials and their French counterparts, shown to BuzzFeed News by a source in the UK, reveals that the French wanted British authorities to raid Lycamobile’s London headquarters last year and seize evidence as part of their investigation into money laundering and tax fraud by the company.

In an official response dated 30 March 2017, a government official noted that Lycamobile is “a large multinational company” with “vast assets at their disposal” and would be “extremely unlikely to agree to having their premises searched”.

The letter, from the team at HMRC that handles law enforcement requests from foreign governments, continued: “It is of note that they are the biggest corporate donor to the Conservative party led by Prime Minister Theresa May and donated 1.25m Euros to the Prince Charles Trust in 2012.” The email referred to Lycamobile’s donations to the British Asian Trust, which was founded by the Prince of Wales to tackle poverty in South Asia, not to his youth foundation The Prince’s Trust which has never received any money from Lycamobile.

Why US/UK/EU politicians are unfairly accusing Russia

Spread the love

Successful i.e. elected, Neo-Con politicians are unfairly accusing Russia of targetted murders, subverting democracy by interfering in elections using fake news and cyber espionage.

The problem is that it is these Neo-Con shits that are subverting democracy and attempting a distraction by blaming Russia. We know who the real perpetrators are – it’s Cambridge Analytica and it’s parent company SCL Group – Neo-Cons who subvert elections globally using Psychological Operations (Psyops or Psychological Warfare). We know that these nasty bastards were involved in subverting the 2016 Presidential election. We know that they subvert democracy internationally so that elections are effectively bought.

Salisbury Consultant Stephen Davies says no nerve agent

Craig Murray has comprehensively demolished the fake news promoted by the UK govrenment that Russia poisoned British spy Sergei Skripol and his daughter Yulia in the UK town of Salisbury. There is no way that imaginary Novichok nerve agent can be reasonably blamed on Russia: They don’t have any and it can be produced elsewhere.

US and EU politicians have been supporting UK despite the Russian nerve agent fake news being exposed for the bullshit it is over a week ago.

Priti Patel

International Development Secretary Priti Patel has been having secret meetings with Israelis – including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – accompanied by Lord Polak, honorary president of Conservative Friends of Israel. Patel originally claimed that Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson was aware of the meetings.

The main issue with Priti Patel’s visits is missed. Theresa May’s government announced beyond doubt that they are Neo-Conservatives by hosting Netanyahu to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Balfour declaration. Neo-Conservatism is an awkward term and Zionist-supporting may be easier although not exactly the same.

The real issue about Priti Patel’s meetings in Israel is that they were conducted without the presence of civil servants so that there is no official record of what was discussed. It’s an ideal situation for the Zionist and Zionist-supporting governments to brief each other on their situation and intentions, the ideal situation to brief each other on intended spin and military action.

Paradise Papers and the Royal family

The Paradise Papers reveal that the Queen had some ten million pounds invested offshore. Ten million is small change to the Queen and the Queen very likely had no knowledge of it. Jeremy Corbyn has been accused of demanding an apology from the Queen. This is media spin. What Corbyn did was reply to a question concerning the Paradise Papers and the Queen by concentrating on the Paradise Papers.

Prince Charles has been criticised for promoting sustainability, etc while his trust held investments in a business that could benefit. It’s a further non-story. Everybody knows Prince Charle’s commitment to sustainability and it’s hardly a surprise that there are investments in that area. Yet again, Prince Charles is not likely to be involved with management of the trust.
