… KEIR STARMER is facing mass rejection within his own constituency as a large demonstration of Palestine supporters took to the streets to demand he quits.

Two thousand joined a noisy and vibrant protest through the PM’s Holborn and St Pancras seat on Saturday, marking the first anniversary of his re-election as local MP by telling him that the community had turned against him.

In a message to the concluding rally, local campaigner Andrew Feinstein, who secured 7,000 votes standing against Sir Keir as a pro-Palestine independent last year warned: “If he dares stand again we as a community will decide the best candidate to stand against him and we as a community will end his political career.”

A COURT case against the British government over arms exports to Israel could be the most important challenge to the legal system in “generations,” arms expert Andrew Feinstein has said.

The case, brought by the Global Legal Action Network and the human rights group Al-Haq, will be heard in the High Court on Monday.

It calls on the government to suspend all arms exports, citing a clear risk that these could be used by Israel to violate international law.

Currently only 30 out of 350 licences are suspended and components for the lethal F-35 fighter jet are exempt.

Speaking to the Morning Star’s deputy news editor Ceren Sagir in a video interview, Mr Feinstein warned that if the legal system sides with the British state as it has done before, effectively allowing it to “trample” over British and international law, “then we will be able to say without a shadow of a doubt that the legal system in Britain is broken.

Parliamentary candidates went on paid-for trips to Israel ahead of the general election, Declassified has found.

Over a dozen new MPs accepted funding from pro-Israel lobby groups before they were even elected to parliament.

The donations were provided by the Labour and Conservative Friends of Israel groups, which aim to promote Israel’s interests in Britain but do not disclose their own sources of funding.

Twelve successful Labour candidates and three Conservatives travelled to Israel with these organisations in the year leading up to Britain’s general election.

The total cost of the trips was over £30,000, with some of them taking place amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and being described as “solidarity” missions.

The revelation comes in the first MPs’ register of interests for the new parliament, which was released this month.

Andrew Feinstein, an arms trade expert who stood as an independent candidate against Keir Starmer, told Declassified: “It is deeply disturbing that the Friends of Israel organisations are attempting to cultivate politicians in Britain even before they are elected”.

The OCISA group formed with the aim of ousting so-called ‘Labour leader’ Keir Starmer has selected Corruption Watch UK director Andrew Feinstein, a Jewish former South African MP and adviser to Nelson Mandela, to stand against Starmer in Holborn and St Pancras in the next general election. Feinstein now lives in the seat.

Feinstein. the son of Holocaust survivors, has a long record of substance and principle that stands in stark contrast to his ‘broken every promise’ opponent, who is known as a ‘long-time servant of the security state’ and became known as the ‘kid starver’ after breaking promises to end the hated ‘universal credit’ benefit system and saying he would not end Tory benefit cuts that have put hundreds of thousands of children into poverty and hunger.

Feinstein has also consistently stood against Israel’s apartheid and genocide in Gaza, arguing that the same tactics his ANC party in South Africa used to bring down apartheid there must be used against Israel and pointing his social media followers to information about Israel’s slaughter of innocents. Starmer, in contrast, has said Israel has the ‘right’ even to impose the blockade on Gaza that is causing horrific starvation and disease.
