UK government withholding details of Palantir contract

KPMG is being paid £8 million to promote Peter Thiel’s tech in NHS hospitals – but we’re being forced to fight for information about this public contract.

It’s been a good week for Palantir. The controversial spy-tech company, co-founded by Trump donor Peter Thiel, looks set to secure even more UK government work after the defence secretary pledged to expand the role of AI in the military.

Palantir already holds a £330 million NHS data contract. But as Democracy for Sale revealed last week, most hospitals in England are not using the software, with many complaining that it simply isn’t up to scratch.

To encourage hospitals to take it up, the government signed an £8 million deal with consultancy giant KPMG to “promote the adoption” of Palantir’s tech in the NHS.

We wanted to know more about how this money is being spent. How exactly has KPMG been promoting Palantir’s software to hospitals? And has it worked?

So, we submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), asking for reports produced by KPMG under its contract, as well as briefings prepared for Health Secretary Wes Streeting, who publicly supported the deal.

The government’s response? Silence. They’re refusing to release the information—so now we’re fighting for transparency.

Sue Hawley, executive director of Spotlight on Corruption, told us the government’s “impulse to secrecy around public money and public contracts” is “deeply concerning.”

“KPMG’s contract raises a real question: if [Palantir’s] software is so good, why does the government need to give £8 million of taxpayers’ money to a management consultancy to encourage NHS hospitals to use it?,” she added.

I want you to understand this Dr. Carole Buckley issue so that there is no doubt

Spread the love

Dr. Carole Buckley hypnotised me and probably many others against my will and without my consent.

The only justification for this is if there is a danger to a vulnerable group – children or women.

What she does is set her little video camera up on it’s tripod and while you’re hypnotised gets you to make a false confession that you attack one of these vulnerable groups. You’re hypnotised, she says “I want you to say this …”.

She does this so that she’s not prosecuted for whatever crime hypnotising someone without their consent and against their will is. Would that be assault?

We need an investigation to look into how many people she has done this to. She was casual and measured so that I would expect it to be many people. If nurses and admin staff come across these false confessions, they should be recognised as false confessions by an evil bitch.

8/5/25 update

I’ve reported this to the Quality Care Commission and as a crime to my local police. It occurred to me later that the police probably know, that the doctor would probably have sent them a copy of the false confession at the time. “Oh, look at me, I’m so clever – I’ve found a paedophile for you. He confessed to me so I filmed it and asked him to repeat it. You’re also probably aware that he’s also one of those left-wing Socialists but – I’m sure that you’ll agree – that’s not a crime unfortunately.”

I don’t hold much hope. The police keep to the notion that I’m an anarchist despite me being registered to vote and voting at every opportunity I can. They regard me as an anarchist so that it’s easier to refuse my rights – “He’s an anarchist but now he needs it he wants the law to protect him …” I’ve been a motorcyclist and now I’m a cyclist getting arrested for defending myself and my property. I’ve not heard about that yet. I told them that I wanted the car driver prosecuted but there seems little chance of that – he’s got twice as many wheels as me. I don’t expect to hear about it, looks like everyone is able to treat me like shit without consequence.

8/5/25 I received a prompt initial response from the local police so I’m glad to say that I was proved wrong on that count.

8/5/25 9.20pm BST. I extend an apology to my local police for being quick to criticise. I can understand what happened in the cycling incident, arriving without understanding what had happened before, I appreciate that their job is sometimes very demanding and that they probably get little thanks for doing it. I’ve probably been a bit stressed lately too.

Keir Starmer warns against following the https://onaquietday.org blog.

We haven’t had Dr. Carole Buckley for a very long time.

I’m getting it because of this, because I’m a political activist, because I’m a Socialist.

This is how it works.

I made a complaint that Dr. Carole Buckley had hypnotised me against my will and without my consent. I think that this was 2016, look in the archives.

I had a mental health assessment in 2016/2017 or so. The mental health nurse was a drunken alcoholic inadequate. I consented to the assessment because he said that everything would be shared with me. He shat on me. I complained but all I can do is avoid these cnuts in future.

I go to a hospital and say that I suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and Dissociative Amnesia (DA). Since I have mental health issues there is a safegarding duty. Not only can the hospital find no mention of DID or DA but they come across serious lies by Dr. Carole Buckley that increase hostility towards me 200%. Instead of being safeguarded, I’m persecuted. A hospital security guard said to me “I don’t like you.” WTF is that? The point is Carole Buckley has to lie otherwise she has no right to hypnotise me without my consent and against my will. She filmed me while I was hypnotised but it’s easy enough to say I want you to say this …

There is no evidence of course, only Carole Buckley’s lies. “While under hypnosis he confided that …”

I would like the evil sow prosecuted and locked up. That’s unlikely to happen unfortunately.

ed: Has she done it to others? Is she a serial cnut?

NHS outsourcing fuels inequality and longer waits, study shows

NHS outsourcing is fuelling inequality and lengthening waiting times, with wealthier patients receiving faster treatment than poorer ones, a study revealed today.

Researchers found that expanding private providers into NHS-funded care has reduced surgical admissions at NHS hospitals and driven up waiting times across the board.

Private hospitals are disproportionately located in wealthier areas and poorer patients, who are often sicker, are less likely to be admitted. With NHS capacity under pressure, the study warned that those on lower incomes are now waiting longer for care, receiving less support at home and facing greater barriers in travelling to private hospitals. On average, patients treated by private providers via the NHS waited only half as long as those treated in NHS hospitals. The poorest 20 per cent of patients are significantly less likely to be treated in the private sector and face longer waiting times than the wealthiest 20 per cent.Between 2003 and 2008, when private involvement in NHS treatment was minimal, surgical admissions rose and waiting times more than halved. But from 2008 onwards, as private sector provision expanded, NHS capacity fell and waiting times increased.Study co-author Professor Allyson Pollock of Newcastle University said: “The private sector is now substituting for, not adding to, NHS capacity.

NEU president slams Labour’s renewed austerity

Spread the love
(left to right) Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner clap their hands during the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, September 22, 2024

NATIONAL Education Union (NEU) president Sarah Kilpatrick slammed Labour’s renewed austerity today, telling the NEU annual conference that Tory welfare cuts had killed her disabled father.

She accused ministers of “perpetuating and repeating the shameful pattern of punching-down and finger-pointing” by “balancing the books on the backs of the poor.”

On the first day of the conference in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, she described how her father had died at the age of 56 after being stripped of his disability benefits under the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government.

She said that she had experienced poverty as a working-class child in Newcastle upon Tyne and was his carer for a number of years.

“As Iain Duncan Smith gleefully applauded the welfare cuts, I represented my father in a tribunal against the DWP [Department for Work and Pensions] decision to remove his disability benefits,” she told delegates.

“He’d had his gas cut off. Couldn’t afford groceries. His elderly mother was adding tins of food to her shopping to bulk up what I was buying for him, but he isolated himself further still.

“He lost a lot of weight during that time and never really recovered.”

In 2013, her father became one of an estimated 120,000 people who died as a result of the Tories’ austerity programme, she said.

“When Wes Streeting brags to the Tories across the benches that Labour have done what they never could and slashed the welfare bill, this is what they mean,” said Ms Kilpatrick.

“Let’s be clear. Nearly two decades of economic permacrisis has not been caused by disabled people.”

Nor has it been caused by the elderly, refugees, the trans community or children in poverty, she said.
