  • Climate Change: It’s not business as usual, there’s no neglecting climate change any longer

This blog will be featuring the Climate Emergency, the catastrophy of Climate Change far more in future. While I have to get upto speed with the arguments, I find the arguments of the climate change deniers very weak. You can hardly deny the established fact of catastrophic climate change when big oil was aware of it and had modelled it as early as the early eighties.

It’s not business as usual on Climate Change any more. Politicians will have to address climate change or they will simply not be elected. There is a very strong association between conservatives and insane climate change denial which is even more marked with the rabid Brexiteers.

Image of young rich and poorRich scum are used to people sucking up to them. There’s no need to do that of course – they’re only rich scum. Class War was probably the best at not sucking up to the rich.

Image reads "The rich and powerful piss on us and the media tells us it's raining"One thing about rich scum is that they consume hugely so making massive contributions to climate change. Private jets, superyachts, expensive cars, frequent flying, owning and maintaing large residences or private islands.

Superyachts are not really yachts – they’re more like floating hotels or small cities. They’re so big that they have to follow shipping lane routes like oil tankers. Consider their contribution to climate change and all for what?

Climate change, global warming, irrefutable facts about, climate change, global warming

Looking into the eye of a Whale is very special.

I am not suggesting that saving whales is any real response to climate change, although of course Whales should be protected and adored. What I am suggesting is that we should hugely reduce our – i.e. human – adverse effect on this beautiful planet that is our World. We need to make huge changes to stop destroying our World.

It’s not about personal issues like riding a bike and doing away with cars (although it may have a minimal affect edit: doing away with cars would have a huge effect, aeroplanes too). Yes, we need to act local – avoid travelling excessive distances. Get a job closer to home.

The real issue is much bigger and needs to be addressed by politicians. We have to stop destroying this World. 2014 was the warmest year on record. Climate change is real and must be addressed.

Climate change is real – we are destroying our beautiful planet World.

“2014 was the planet’s warmest year on record. Now, one year doesn’t make a trend, but this does: Fourteen of the 15 warmest years on record have all fallen in the first 15 years of this century.” President Obama, US President 2015 State of the Nation address.
