A few questions about the Manchester explosion

To question what happened in no way insults or disregards the dead and injured.

I have never been a member of and in no way am I associated with the Labour Party i.e. other than being a supporter.

A few questions:

Major disruption at Manchester Victoria (1)

Major disruption at Manchester Victoria until further notice

Was the explosion actually at Manchester Victoria station? Manchester Victoria station appears to be still closed. What’s going on?

Are these parts – which are claimed to be bomb parts – from heavy electrical equipment e.g. a transformer? [The battery suggests a back-up power supply.]

Why were firefighters prevented from attending for 90 minutes?

It’s difficult to fault Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party

It’s difficult to fault Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party’s campaigning in the current UK general election. “For the many. Not the few”, the excessively rich to pay more in tax.

They’re saying it like it is – a rigged economy for the benefit of a tiny minority at the expense of the many, that the Conservative party is the party of the privileged elite.

Gambling on Jeremy Corbyn

I have gambled on UK politics and won big over the recent few years. Please check for yourselves: there have not been bets available on Jeremy Corbyn as next prime minister for months. The best odds currently is 9:1 with a maximum stake of £62.50.

Odds are very poor. Bookies would be offering upwards of 50:1 if the election was regarded as a foregone conclusion.

NHS feedback censor all mention of class discrimination

Spread the love

Have you seen them? Your feedback is welcome … bollocks, bollocks, bollocks. I was there yesterday and there was this strange stupid plinth object next to where I was sat in the waiting room. Your feedback is welcome … bollocks, bollocks, bollocks. The touchscreen didn’t work so I switched it off at the plug (power supply). That didn’t work either – the power switch on the socket didn’t work. The ridiculous expensive embedded plinth thing didn’t work and the power socket didn’t work – there’s fantastically expensive PFI hospitals for you.

When you do manage to give feedback, it is censored. I suggest that you withdraw it if it is excessively censored.

I am the author of this review. I object to the fact that you have censored the title. The title originally referred to discrimination on grounds of age and class while the text supported that claim. Your censorship has clearly degraded my feedback so that the term discrimination no longer appears. The title that you inserted “Hospital feedback” bears no relationship to my title and totally recasts and degrades the feedback that I provided.

I am unwilling to accept your censorship. Please either replace the original title or remove my feedback.

That works. You can try submitting reworded feedback. Claims of class discrimination are censored.

20/3/17 I’m actually very well if anyone is interested. I stopped drinking alcohol for 4 weeks and will probably only drink very occasionally in future.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair won’t face an investigation into whether he misled Parliament before the 2003 Iraq invasion unless new evidence emerges, a committee of lawmakers said Thursday.

A seven-year official inquiry into the war had cleared Blair of allegations that he had made a “personal and demonstrable decision to deceive Parliament or the public,” Parliament’s Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee said.

The committee said that several probes into the divisive war don’t “provide a sufficient basis” for a parliamentary investigation.

So Blair and Campbell’s two dodgy dossiers don’t count as deliberate attempts to deceive the UK parliament and electorate? That’s exactly what they were for.
