A foul-mouthed fascist who will be UKIP’s Westminster candidate for Llanelli at the next general election has been condemned for referring to Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner as a “common oik” and a “slag from Bolton”.

Stan Robinson made the comments during a vlog he presented with his fellow “Voice of Wales” activist Dan Morgan, a convicted fraudster who was given a suspended prison sentence for his role in a multi-million-pound insurance scam that saw people duped into paying up-front fees with the promise of refunds that never materialised.

During a rant about Richard Tice, the leader of Reform UK, which is polling far higher than UKIP, Robinson refers to former Tory deputy chairman Lee Anderson, who recently defected to Reform, saying: “They’re so inextricably tied together, it’s like Sir Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner, a common oik. In order to personify [sic – presumably he means pacify] the working class, they have to have the slag from Bolton on.”

Ineptitude

Robinson’s rudeness is matched by his geographical ineptitude. Ms Rayner doesn’t come from Bolton. She was born in Stockport, on the other side of Manchester, and is the MP for nearby Ashton-under-Lyne.

In the vlog, Robinson also makes a fool of himself by confusing the Sussex constituency of Lewes with the Scottish island of Lewis.

Protesters use children’s shoes to make powerful statement at Keir Starmer’s home

Pro-Palestine protesters have staged a demonstration outside Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer‘s home, in a move which has been condemned by the Prime Minister.

The group, known as Youth Demand, describe themselves as a ‘new youth resistance campaign fighting for an end to genocide’.

The demonstrators hung a banner outside Sir Keir’s house that read: ‘Starmer stop the killing’ surrounded by red hand prints.

Protesters then laid rows of children’s shoes in front of the Labour leader’s door, a tactic that has been utilised at a number of pro-Palestine protests to signify children killed in Gaza.

Rishi Sunak, who’s own home in North Yorkshire was the target of climate protesters in 2023, said such incidents would not be tolerated.

In a post to X the Prime Minister said: ‘I don’t care what your politics are, no MP should be harassed at their own home.

Well feck you Rishi “no MP should be harassed at their own home” Sunak. These people are responding to you and similar politician cnuts aiding and abetting genocide. You should reflect on your own and your mate Keir Starmer’s actions supporting Israel’s genocide.

Pro-Palestine protestors calling for an arms embargo on Israel have doused the Labour Party’s headquarters in red paint in a protest against the party’s stance on the war in Gaza.

Demonstrators from the Youth Demand group insisted both the government and official opposition should commit to preventing the supply of weapons to the country.

The group wrote on social media: “Labour has blood on their hands. They are complicit in the murder of Palestinians, and millions of people around the world, as they continue to drive genocide.”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed 12 people had been arrested over the protest.

Reaction to Wes Streeting comments on NHS reform and private sector involvement

Responding to comments by the Shadow Heath Secretary saying that under a Labour government investment in the NHS would be dependent on reform and that there would be an increased role for the private sector, co-leader of the Green Party, Carla Denyer, said:

“Wes Streeting says that if the NHS doesn’t change, it will die. But it is inadequate funding that has left our NHS in a poor state of health, not lack of reform.

“Between 2010 and 2019 the UK had a lower level of capital investment in health care and 18% lower average health spending than 14 EU countries.

“So to say that the public is paying a heavy price for failure is an insult to hard-working NHS staff, who are doing their level best despite being overworked and underpaid. It is the failure to invest adequately and pay staff properly that is at the root of dissatisfaction with the NHS.

“The public agrees. They don’t want endless reforms; neither do they share the Conservative or Labour appetite for creeping privatisation. They want the current model to work and to see the NHS available to everyone free of charge and primarily funded through taxes. A tax on the super-rich billionaires and multi-millionaires can provide the funds needed to fix our cherished NHS.

“The Green Party has never had any truck with the profit motive in health care and will continue to push for a fully publicly funded NHS.”

Campaigners call on government to halt complicity in war crimes

CAMPAIGNERS accused the British government of “flouting their own rules” by exporting arms when there’s a risk of them being used to commit war crimes.

Labour’s David Lammy urged Foreign Secretary David Cameron to face MPs in the House of Commons and address concerns about arms export licences directly.

In January, documents filed in High Court showed that Lord Cameron recommended British arms sales to Israel despite “serious concerns” in the Foreign Office that it had breached international law.

More than 600 lawyers have since signed a letter warning the government to suspend the sales, or risk breaking international humanitarian law.

Lord Cameron has been urged to reveal whether he has received legal advice on continuing the licences, amid warnings that he could be breaching the ministerial code by not publishing the advice if he received it.
